She is a master’s-level graduate counselor and a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern (RMHCI), and Anita is pursuing her PhD in counseling education and supervision. Both in the school system and in private practice, she has worked with children, adolescents, and adults. Her specialties include women’s issues, anxiety and depression, grief and loss, trauma, and marriage and family issues, including separation and divorce, blended family challenges, marriage and premarital counseling (SYMBIS certified), and parent and child attachments and relationships.
