I enjoy helping people to see how amazing they are - we can lose sight of this fast when not feeling our best. I have a very down to earth approach and I'm all about identifying and using your own strengths to solve issues, foster and build empowerment, and move past shame and self criticism. Therapy is different for each person depending on your needs, preferences, and goals. The experience should be judgement free, safe, and understanding at all times. I practice through the lens of constant anti racism, anti imperialism, anti oppression, and Liberation focused training, which should not be optional in this field. I find that often in the busy-ness of life we forget that it's ok to care for ourselves and to want to feel better. My specialties are depression, anxiety, women's issues, relationship issues, communication skills, anger management, self esteem, and assertiveness skills/boundary setting (getting out of toxic relationships).
