Anne graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Social Work and earned her master's in social work from the University of Michigan. Anne is a certified trauma specialist from the National Institute of Trauma and Loss in Children (TLC) and uses TLC's Structured Sensory Interventions for Traumatized Children, Adolescents and Parents (SITCAP). Anne is also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) - a psychotherapy approach that focuses on both the child and the parent. Anne has a passion for working with children and families that have been impacted by trauma, grief, and loss.
