About
Hello! I have earned my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I enjoy working with teenagers, adults, and older adults on issues related to depression, anxiety, grief and loss, identity, trauma, and life transitions. In session, I like to be interactive and will use traditional talk therapy along with creative methods for communicating. Many people enjoy using arts, crafts, music, and movement in session, so I help foster an environment that helps people feel safe enough to express themselves through these modalities. I am available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays in our Des Moines office location and offer the choice of in-person and/or virtual (Telehealth) appointments. I am available on Thursdays and Fridays for students located at the Ankeny Centennial High School and am able to meet with students in the school building during school hours.
