Finding the right therapist is like finding a great pair of hiking boots. You know you want to go on a journey and your boots need to fit right, handle different terrain, and take you the distance. Sometimes you may even need to try on a few different pairs. As a practice owner and therapist, I think my skill lies in matching you with someone in my group or in the community who can take you the distance with the right combination or personality, style, and technical skill. I am heavily invested in supervising emerging clinicians and, while I may not have room on my caseload, clients who see my supervisees often benefit from the oversight of experienced clinicians like myself.
