Over the past 30+ years, I have treated the varied emotional problems of several diverse generations. Those clients who worked hard and gave significant time to the treatment were all, for the most part,able to put their relationships in order and further enhance them as well as becoming rather successful in their work. My mentor, an analysand of Erich Fromm, told me long ago that "each person has his/her own poetry." My job was to let it unfold. It all sounded very lofty but time revealed that this was the way.
