In the 15 years prior to becoming a therapist, I served as an EMT and Paramedic. Before that, I served in the US Army where I deployed to Iraq two separate times. I believe that my experiences as a Veteran and a First Responder places me in the position to understand and relate to the unique challenges that these populations face. At this time, I work primarily with adolescents and adults with a special interest in Veterans and First Responders. In my experience over the past two decades, I’ve noticed that both Veterans and First Responders continue to be underserved and someone needs to “help the helpers.” I am currently accepting new clients and am seeing clients both in-person or via telehealth (online) depending on your preference. I utilize a client-centered approach and I focus mainly on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Acute Stress Disorder, Anxiety, and Depression.
