Sometimes we know things in our lives need to change but we may not know where to start or how to make progress toward our goals. Therapy helps people examine where they are, what they are struggling with, and create a plan to begin making changes in their lives and/or relationships. Trauma, anxiety, or stressful life events can make things feel overwhelming but finding a therapist you connect with is the first step. Petunia, my 20 lb. mixed breed dog (DOB 7/4/21) is about to test to get her therapy dog certification. She is often present during sessions but I can put her in her kennel if you prefer.
