When anxiety lingers, past traumas surface, or substance use becomes a coping tool, life can begin to feel like a constant state of survival. Even small decisions may feel overwhelming when you're carrying unprocessed pain or trying to maintain control on the outside while feeling disconnected within. I became a therapist after experiencing the transformative power of therapy myself, and I’ve seen firsthand how change is possible, even when it feels far off. I hold an MS from Long Island University (2011) and support adults 18+ navigating the emotional weight of CPTSD, substance abuse, and anxiety.
