Life can be challenging especially when a person is struggling in their relationships or has been traumatized. These stressors can lead to depression & anxiety. It can help to have a neutral, objective, & non- judgmental person to talk with. I value the opportunity to work as a team using an individual’s self-awareness & their own inner wealth of knowledge as they move towards growth, change, & healing. I use a variety of evidence based treatment approaches personalized for each client. I also use a psycho-educational approach to support individuals as they learn healthier methods to cope with various life stressors. I am a licensed clinical social worker with more than 26 years of experience treating adolescents, adults, couples & families. I have extensive experience working with survivors of domestic violence & sexual abuse and their families. I also specialize in treating depression, anxiety, parenting/relationship/women’s issues, grief & stress management.
