The clients I work with are Kanaka Maoli seeking to integrate modern psychology and cultural wisdom to live in better lōkahi (balance and harmony). They struggle to care for themselves due to caring for others and serving the Lāhui Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian Nation). This is often because of unresolved trauma, chronic stress from colonization, and anxiety that shows up as perfectionism, people-pleasing, or distraction from intuition. I help them reconnect to their mana (power) and strengthen self-trust so they can engage in healthy reciprocal relationships.
