Many things keep us from living the life we want to live. Circumstances out of our control leave us with unexplainable grief, shame, fear, confusion, and interpersonal pain. Whether it be a move, loss of a loved one, job change, or traumatic event, these pivotal moments of our story can cause us to wonder “where do I go from here?” or “how can I begin to pick up the pieces?” We can be left feeling alone and stuck, uncertain with how to move forward. When life knocks the wind from our sails, sometimes borrowing hope from another is what we need until we learn to carry it for ourselves.
