Hello, my name is April Leighton, and I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with over two decades of experience, having earned my license in 1999. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and client-centered, adapting various techniques to meet each individual’s unique needs and goals. I specialize in working with children in grades 6-12, both within and outside of school settings, as well as with adults in inpatient and outpatient environments. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, trauma, adjustment challenges, emotional regulation, mindfulness, and marital therapy.
