Hi! My name is Araceli and I graduated with my masters in counseling 17 yrs ago. I have worked in all type of settings from hospice, suicide prevention, trauma, etc. My passion has always been working with individuals who are struggling to find themselves after the loss of a loved one (this might even include a pet). I am bilingual; I speak fluent in English and Spanish, and being able to work with the Spanish speaking community would be a pleasure. On our first session together, I will get to know you and reasons for seeking therapy. We will create a treatment plan together for us to work on sessions to help accomplish it. Because I have worked with individuals with extensive history of trauma, I have learned to be fully present with the client and meet them where they're at. I am an active listener and not afraid of challenging the client once in a while or when appropriately needed.
