I believe counseling is a component of overall healthcare. Through the challenges of life people need an accepting place to share their story and perspective in order to gain insight into their challenges and strengths. I will provide a warm, compassionate presence to people from birth to geriatrics. I earned my Masters degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University with specialty training in Play Therapy, Activity Therapy, Child Parent Relationship Training, Group Therapy, and Geriatrics. There I worked with age groups ranging from young children to adults seeking counseling for various life and mental health challenges.
