At the heart of my work is a belief in the healing power of being truly seen, known, and emotionally held by another. I believe all behavior serves a purpose. Even the most painful or confusing patterns often began as ways to cope with overwhelming circumstances. In therapy, we'll explore these parts of yourself, welcoming them into conscious awareness with curiosity and compassion. This often involves intentionally reflecting on past experiences and early relationships. When these emotions are safely confronted and processed, they begin to shift. Over time, you may come to recognize that while your defenses once made perfect sense, they may no longer serve you in the same way. The work of therapy is not about erasing or lingering in the past, but about making meaning from it.
