Hi there! My name is Ash Westgate (they/them/theirs) and I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) in Maryland. I’m excited to meet you! If you are searching for a therapist who specializes in conversations around identity, and focuses on all of what makes you you, then you’re in the right place. Who we are does not exist in a vacuum, and we are not all one thing, so if you're looking for conversations on how the different pieces make you - YOU - we'll likely work well together. I treat trauma-related symptoms, grief, mood and anxiety disorders, and stressors related to intersectional and multicultural identities. I specialize in conversations around identity, as who we present to this world can often add to our well-being, as well as our stressors. I use a trauma-informed, multicultural, feminist, and LGBTQIA+ lens to provide a safe, open space to explore. I specialize in mood and anxiety disorder treatment, grief, and trauma-related symptoms.
