Hi, I’m Ashanti, my background is Caribbean. I aim to help those who have experienced immense amount of trauma in their childhood. I like to begin with building rapport and trust with my clients, ensuring them this is indeed a safe place. Often, in childhood, we learn many maladaptive behaviors and attitudes, maladaptive coping skills, and depending on the severity of our trauma, we learn many protective factors, which often do not serve us as adults.
