At the Heart's goal is to bridge the gap and to help heal our community, families and individuals. All members of our community need respect and acceptance. Our staff provides a non-judgmental, caring environment for clients to get the support and encouragement they need when they need it the most. At the Heart is a low cost counseling center in Elk Grove that provides affordable counseling and education for our community. At the Heart provides services based on a sliding scale ranging from $25-$80 determined by household income and services needed. We have in-person, telehealth, day, evening and Saturday availability. We have a unique program that blends lay counseling, coaching and professional counseling in order to expand and support a greater number of people in our community. Some people have severe symptoms that are problematic in their life and while others simply need someone in their corner to help them set and meet goals or talk through their concerns.
