As a Black, Christian woman, the messages I received translated to me that I had to suffer in silence meaning pray about it and God will fix it! Although, I do believe in prayer and know firsthand that God will fix it, I also understand that we also need to have a trusted, non biased person to help us navigate through the process. I am a passionate, caring, clinical Social Worker who utilizes humor in conjunction with evidenced based therapy modalities within the therapeutic environment!
