Patients come to my practice looking to better their lives. They often come with a presenting problem that has brought them in at this specific point in time and they are seeking resolution and relief from that situation. However, in addition to more short-term, symptom relief, many patients come hoping to attain a better understanding of themselves from the inside out — from their thoughts to their behaviors. In short, they are trying to increase their awareness and understanding of themselves in an attempt to improve the quality of their relationships and their lives. I have been in practice for over 20 years and have experience working with patients of all different ages and presenting problems. I most frequently work with adults, with common presenting problems including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties.
