Hello and welcome. My name is Barb and I am an LCSW-C located in Frederick County, MD. Over the past 2 decades in the mental health field, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of various therapeutic techniques and methodologies from working in clinical out-patient and hospital based settings with children, teens, couples and adults. For the past 11 years, I've been doing private practice based work and have been primarily virtual since 2023. I attended the University of Maryland at College Park for my Bachelor’s in Psychology and then received my Masters in Clinical Social Work (with a minor in Program Administration) from the University of Maryland in Baltimore in 2001. I'm also a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional.
