I have been in private practice for 34 years, providing practical skills and deep exploration to address the range of issues from stressors of daily living to complex trauma and loss. Whether facing new challenges or familiar patterns, I help people gain insight and identify small steps that can result in significant change. I offer a client centered, integrative approach, drawing on many treatment modalities supported by a foundation of mindfulness and compassion therapies. My work with clients who have chronic and acute medical issues is supported by my healthcare background in nursing, medical social work and hospice care.
