I have been working with young people and families for over 31 years in both community and school settings. During this time, I have learned so much from the many people I have worked with. I’ve witnessed first hand that we can all change, grow, and ultimately feel better through positive connection with others. During sessions, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable environment by listening and supporting my clients. I use a strengths focused, empathic, non judgemental treatment approach and I focus on helping my clients feel safe. During therapy we will begin to identify, accept and process the emotions, thoughts and behaviors that create stress in life. My areas of expertise include adolescent, young adult and family mental health.
