I view therapy as a way for one to get to know oneself better through knowing and understanding your conscious and unconscious drives, defenses and longings. I believe that when we know ourselves better we can be more in control of life's journey and have a better grip on the internal and often subconscious obstacles that get in the way of one's fulfillment. My background is in DBT, Prolong Exposure therapy for trauma and EFT. In the past several years I have also become an avid student of psychoanalysis. A combination of these approaches informs my work with my clients.
