Your eldering can and should be vibrant and happy. For a long time, we believed development stopped when an individual entered adulthood. This is far from true. Not all the transitions of middle and later life are easy or welcome. No one has to feel depressed, alone, bored, isolated and forgotten. I support individuals, couples, families and caregivers as they navigate the important transitions of later life. Later life is a time of dynamic personal change and growth. View 4 Photos Gerontology found me when I was not looking. Early in my career I worked with a volunteer program providing friendly visits to elders. Talking with elders about how they feel I discovered so many unique needs for older adults. In the process I fell in love with this work. I cannot imagine a better way to connect with people.
