Welcome! I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in CT since 2014 and implement evidence-based treatments to support clients with a variety of stressors related to life adjustment, anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, family and academics. I have specialized training in working with clients from a myriad of backgrounds and presenting issues (anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma and chronic medical issues). While each therapeutic relationship is unique, my typical style includes formation of a positive and collaborative clinical relationship to support client in utilizing therapeutic safe to open about and process I am an excellent active listener and create a therapeutic environment to allow for clients to gain insight and develop a plan to meet their goals. I tend to offer psychoeducation briefly and can offer homework if student feels it would be helpful.
