Most people face trying times at different points in their lives and may benefit from support to overcome their challenges. Seeking help can be intimidating and it takes courage to begin therapy. As a social worker, I am trained to help people to better understand themselves and what may be contributing to their struggles, and to offer practical solutions that can help improve their situation. Although I genuinely enjoy the people that I meet, I believe that therapy should be temporary professional assistance so that people can learn how to manage their challenges independently.
