I treat a wide range of issues, but I specialize in the treatment of complex PTSD. Complex PTSD is a type of PTSD that can result from prolonged trauma and trauma experienced during childhood. It is notoriously difficult to treat, because trauma becomes entwined with personality and identity. Healing from something that has colored every aspect of your life, and become part of who you are, is a hideously difficult process. The normal treatments for traumatic stress - CBT, EMDR - don't get very far.
