Not Accepting New Patients- In the treatment of eating disorders, mood disorders, and other common co-occurring issues, I primarily seek to explore and help patients gain insight into the forces driving behaviors that frequently keep them stuck and deprive them of participating in life more fully. Specific strategies to help patients confront and renegotiate their current struggles are also a focus of sessions in addition to relationships, both past and present, as it is believed that one's relationship with food, their view of themselves, and their view of the future is significantly impacted by relationships in their life. Letting go of anything familiar, even if it is harmful, can be scary and destabilizing. I will strive to establish trust and safety in our working relationship to help you move through the fear in the pursuit of growth!
