There can be a lot of pressure, both internal and external, in our daily lives. Present day stressors, along with past experiences, impact us each day. There often isn't time or space to process all that is happening around us or within us. When our unacknowledged experiences pile up, it can lead to a sense of overwhelm, making it difficult for us to fully engage in our lives and relationships in the way we would like to. By being curious, accepting and supportive, I intend to create a safe space where you are able to pause and notice your physical sensations, organize your thoughts, and integrate your emotional experiences. Somatic experiencing, mindfulness and attachment theory are a few of the approaches that guide my work. Through the therapeutic process, you can expect to increase your capacity to be curious and kind towards yourself, experience greater clarity around your wants and needs and expand your self-awareness.
