I love working with children and families as they address significant social, emotional and behavior concerns. I seek to help parents or caregivers understand that their child's behavior is trying to communicate something, and together we figure out what the unmet need is and how to provide support and meet the child's needs in alternative ways. I also partner with the child to help them learn how to communicate their wants and needs in safe and appropriate ways by teaching them alternative replacement behaviors instead!
