Carol has many years of experience assessing emotional impairments and Autism Spectrum Disorder in children ages 3 to 19 in the school setting. In addition to specializing in treatment with adolescents in the schools, she has worked with a variety of mental health disorders in the past seven years, providing care for both children and adults in her private practice. Carol has treated anxiety, depression, trauma related disorders, bi-polar disorder, adjustment disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, personality disorders, eating disorders, substance use disorders and grief. She has worked with clients on relationship challenges, parenting education, and behavior management issues. Carol finds success in a client centered approach, building trusting relationships to assist in moving through the therapeutic process. A variety of evidence based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, stress management, etc.
