Ms. Helfner is a licensed clinical social worker. She received her BSW from Florida International University. She received her Master’s in clinical social work at Barry University. She went on to complete an MS in Family therapy working towards her PH. D at Nova University. She completed an additional certification as a Master certified Addictions Professional (MCAP) as well as a Clinical fellow in marriage and family therapy. She has over 30 years of clinical experience working with Individuals, couples, teens, LGBTQ, and families. She specializes in Co-occurring disorders, Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar disorder, and addiction.
