I have been in practice for 30 years and throughout this time I have found that often times trauma is at the core of mental health issues and behavioral problems. If you are experiencing trauma, depression or anxiety, therapy can help you develop awareness of your feelings and identify root causes which in turn can help you cope with the difficulties you're experiencing. I have experience working with survivors of sexual violence, physical violence, childhood neglect, and domestic violence or witness to domestic violence. I have experience working with caregivers to help them feel empowered in their parenting role.
