About

All CDS Family and Behavioral Health services are FREE of cost to families and youth. CDS provides free non-residential prevention counseling services and short-term residential stays for youth ages 6-17 (Non-residential) and 10-17 (residential) and their families. One of the main goals of our programs is prevention. To this, we try to address the problematic behaviors before they are beyond the control of the youth or the parent. Non Residential provides 12 weeks of free counseling and/or Case management for ungovernable or at risk youth while also working with the family system. View 28 Photos Our programs offer free counseling, groups and residential stays for Youth and their families in order to decrease problematic behaviors. CDS has offices in Gainesville, Lake City, and Palatka and serves an 11 county area. Our counselor credentials range from Bachelor, Master and Doctoral levels, Licensed, Registered Interns, and Master's Students.
