I am also an Educational Therapist working in various schools and clinics. I work with children, adolescents, and parents and all the professionals that orbit their lives. School Anxiety is a particular area of interest. The colleagues I work with support the multi-diciplinary approach to treating the whole child. Professionals I work with have specialties not limited to speech, language, vision, psychiatry, family counseling, parenting, neurodevelopment, teaching, play and more. As an Educational Therapist I offer children and adults with learning disabilities and other learning challenges a wide range of intensive, individualized interventions designed to remediate learning problems. This approach stimulates clients' awareness of their strengths so they can use those strengths to best advantage to overcome or compensate for areas of weakness. Services includes implementation of a treatment plan that utilizes information from a variety of sources including the client's social, emotional, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological context.
