I use an integrated approach when treating clients no matter if they are a young child, teen or an adult. I am very person-centered. What may work for one client may not work for all. I believe in identifying and tapping into one’s unique qualities and using those as tools to help one reach their goals. Having an open mind and reflecting on what you want to see change is key. Your goal could be anything from abstaining or lowering substance use, to setting healthy boundaries, to addressing trauma, to wanting to build better relationships with others, to making a career change, to wanting a better relationship with yourself. However, unlike many others I do not just diagnose and treat addictive disorders, I treat trauma, depression, anxiety and or other co-occurring disorders that contribute to interfering with one’s functioning. I will work with you and together we will identify and address barriers to help you reach your personal goals.
