I am passionate about people and the stories that make up our lives. I often lead with the question: "What is your story?" And follow with, "What do you want your story to become?" I have spent much of my life examining the roles and symbols embedded in our everyday life, using creativity, interpersonal techniques, to inform powerful personal change. I have over 20 years experience working in therapeutic settings, cultivating space to honor the healing process and narratives in all of us. My compass is driven by compassion, curiosity, creativity and always some laughter. I will hold the shadows but also make room for the light. I am skilled in traditional talk therapy, but always bring another layer to my work. Often using metaphor and imagery to help people understand and empower their own narratives, we will work together to see through the role we’ve written for ourselves and create a toolbox for both healing and personal growth.
