The focus of my work is helping individuals who are struggling with compulsive sexual behaviors (commonly known as sex and porn addiction) and the negative impacts it can have on a person's relationships, overall emotional well being, health, family, career and other aspects of life. Struggles with sexuality can involve a great deal of pain, guilt and shame. If this is your experience, finding a professional who can provide a safe and non-judgemental space is crucial. In addition, I work with individuals who experience difficulties creating and maintaining intimate connections in relationships. My approach involves working from a sex positive focus, which helps individuals explore healthy sexuality as opposed to pathologizing or shaming their sexual behaviors. I help clients by exploring the underlying parts of Self that are driving compulsive behaviors; developing deeper connection in relationships; and finding ways to heal relationship wounds.
