Presently, I am accepting new clients. I have a bachelor's in Christian ministry and a master's degree in counseling. My specialties are (1) relationship counseling; (2) counseling to reduce symptoms of low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and trauma; and (3) counseling to explore one's spiritual relationship to identify obstacles that impede connection with God. I have extensive training in Emotionally Focused Couple's Therapy, Gottman Couple's Therapy, Brainspotting, and Trauma Competency. I am unable to accept insurance for relationship counseling because insurance does not reimburse the diagnosis of relationship distress. In addition to my professional training, I have life experience. I've been married for 40 years: 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Life has taught me that adversity does not discriminate. My clients are normal people like you and me who seek solutions to navigate difficult emotions and life challenges. I believe in counseling; I've witnessed transformation.
