As one gains an understanding of their past, the experiences that have shaped them, and their responses to those situations, we can find a new path forward. We cannot move forward until we know where we have been on the journey of life. Through exploration, one can experience being known in a therapeutic context, thus learning the skills necessary to be known by those in our lives.
