I have been working in the field of adolescent mental health and substance abuse counseling for over 14 years. I started my career working in a mental health partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program for adolescents and eventually came to specialize and work with adolescents and their families with substance abuse and co-occurring disorders in an intensive outpatient program which I coordinated, before moving on to work with adolescents in a high school setting.
