I have a special passion for working with adolescents and young adults, and most of my clinical practice has focused on these age groups. I especially enjoy helping clients through life transitions, who are struggling in social relationships, or are adjusting to new environments like moving away from home or starting college. I have experience working with clients on issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, parent-child relational problems, trauma, and adolescent substance abuse. My approach to treatment is based on the individual needs of my clients, and I believe in the importance of collaboration in setting goals for treatment. I have experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy Skills, and I believe in the importance of incorporating mindfulness skills into treatment.
