We all have our own story that needs to be told and we need to "feel" heard without judgment. Children just as adults, want to tell their story and feel & know someone is really listening. At BHCS we pride ourselves on meeting the client where they are while providing a safe and comfortable place to begin healing. We all have our rough patches in life and as Murphy's Law would have it, "life" did not come with an instruction book on how to navigate through the rough storms. Children, the same, just less experience and less knowledge; children do not act out for no reason; they just do not know how to express themselves yet. I work with all ages, starting as young as 3 years old all the way through the lifespan. However, my specialty, training, and passion are for children/adolescent/young adult age groups. Children are our future and if we can begin the healing as earlier as possible, it gives them that much more of a fighting chance to overcome & live a happy life.
