I am an LMHC, board certified in the State of Iowa. I have 28 years of experience and have had the privilege of working with adults, adolescents, couples and families in various settings in the past. I have done private practice for the past 14 years. I worked at New Heights Counseling for 6 years and started my own private practice in West Des Moines in October, 2023. I accept adults, teens, families and couples and have immediate openings. I also specialize in grief and trauma treatment. I would love to help you through any issue big or small in a safe therapeutic setting. I have experience working with Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Abuse, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, couples, etc. I use DBT, CBT and mindfulness skills to help clients manage their stress. I focus a lot on the importance of setting boundaries, self care and positive self worth.
