I offer a variety of counseling services for individuals, and families to help find ways to increase understanding of themselves and others, and identify and practice new approaches to existing problems. My approach is compassionate, but direct and goal-oriented. My work as a psychotherapist is grounded in the extensive study and experience in individual and relational psychotherapy. I am on some insurance panels. My specialties include family therapy, particularly issues related to divorce and blended family. I have extensive training and experience in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic approaches, which may help a patient gain insight into underlying conflicts, possibly unconscious, which can be a cause of problems in relationships and hinder personal growth.
