My area of experience and expertise is in helping you to reduce symptoms and suffering. I believe that through a therapy approach that focuses on learning about oneself, problem-solving, and empowerment, personal growth and overcoming obstacles is very possible. With over 10 years of experience as a psychotherapist and 25 years as a social worker, I have had the privilege of working with people from many backgrounds and with a broad spectrum of mental health needs. Currently at Start My Wellness I am primarily working with adults and children/adolescents from age 13 and up. I work electically incorporating approaches such as psychodynamic (insight-oriented, originated by Freud) and Humanistic Therapy.
