I meet with people to discuss issues related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and LGBTQ topics. I have a special interest in providing support through the uncertainty of a medical diagnosis, treatment, and end-of-life. I also walk beside people as they cope with grief and bereavement. If it resonates with the person, I have experience leading mindfulness meditation sessions, which has been proven to alleviate stress and anxiety. I have been a clinical social worker for over 15 years, working in oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital, as well as The Wellness Room. I offer teletherapy, as well as in-person therapy. My certified therapy dog, Toby, will often sit in on sessions to model calmness and peace. He is hypoallergenic and friendly.
