My passion is working with adult children of alcoholics and/or narcissists, generally anyone who suffered traumas that have made it feel your life is not your own, not good enough or out of control. You want to set more clear boundaries with others and likely, yourself. You always feel you can do better and never feel like enough. You do it all for everyone but you. You desire to live empowered and confidently. We can work together to support you in better understanding your needs and emotions and exploring and identifying effective tools to meet those needs and manage your emotions in a healthy and effective way. I use primarily EMDR and IFS and also pull from mindfulness, cognitive work, light yoga and meditation practices. I often incorporate IFS or “parts” into work into EMDR and find this combination to be extremely powerful to treat trauma, anxiety and depression.
